        Lesnícke služby v pestovateľskej činnosti na účely tohto verejného obstarávania predstavujú súbor prác, zahrňujúcich obnovu lesa sadbou alebo sejbou, následnú starostlivosť o mladé lesné porasty ich ochranou proti burine, zveri a ich výchovu prerieďovaním a odstraňovaním nežiaducich drevín z porastu za účelom ich skvalitnenia a stability. Túto základnú starostlivosť doplňujú práce v ochrane lesa, ostatné pestovateľské práce a práce na zachovaní a reprodukcii genofondu lesných drevín. Ide o odbornú činnosť, zameranú na trvalo udržateľné hospodárenie v lesoch takým spôsobom a v takom rozsahu, aby sa uchovala ich biologická diverzita, odolnosť, produkčná a obnovná schopnosť, životnosť a schopnosť plniť funkcie lesov. Ide o diferencované hospodárenie v lesoch, pri ktorom sa zohľadňujú rozmanité prírodné, porastové, hospodárske, ekonomické a spoločenské podmienky a požiadavky, uplatnené pri vyhotovení a realizácií programu starostlivosti o lesy a postupy podľa osobitných predpisov pri odstraňovaní následkov mimoriadnych okolností a nepredvídaných škôd na lesoch. Dodávatelia sú povinní pri vykonávaní lesníckych služieb v pestovateľskej činnosti dodržiavať všeobecne záväzné podmienky, ktoré sú súčasťou rámcovej dohody. Jednotlivé pestovateľské výkony a popis spôsobu ich realizácie sú uvedené v samotných Súťažných podkladoch.
